We have sought legal advice on several occasions from Herbert and found him to be very helpful, kind, humorous and "fatherly" with us. On a couple times he had us come to his home as guests rather than customers. We will miss him as will many in this area and this state. Our prayers are with you all.

Heart of God Ministries Bishop Fred T. Simms, D.D.

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Corinthians 15:51,52 To The Family of Herb Henderson, Esquire: The Pastor, First Lady, and members of the Heart of God Ministries extend to you our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your loved one. Life is but a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. But, each life is under divine direction and the human will should be subject to His divine will at all times. Whereas, the hearts of many have been saddened by the death of your loved one, we deem it befitting to express to the family our sympathy and breathe a prayer for you, that you may have strength to bear your sorrow. Take comfort in the words of Jesus Christ, who declared, “I am the resurrection and the life: He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” No matter what hour the death angel may call, the promise of eternal life is given to those that love the Lord, to those that believe in Him. It is our sincere prayer that God will comfort you, that His love will strengthen you, and that His words will bring your peace. In closing we say to the family, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Rely on God, who is willing and able to heal all sorrow. IN SYMPATHY, BISHOP FRED T. SIMMS, PASTOR EVANGELIST JANET L. HAIRSTON, CHURCH CLERK FTS/clc

To the family of Herb Henderson, please accept my condolences for your tremendous loss. I had the honor of working on several cases with Mr. Henderson over the years and will always remember him as what I strive to be; a true gentleman's lawyer. He treated me the same as a young lawyer as he did later in my career; with respect. Our bar could use more lawyers like Mr. Henderson. May God be with you during these difficult days and fill you with the appreciation of the lives touched by Mr. Henderson. Scott Kaminski
