Sarah Beth NapierSARAH BETH NAPIER, 30, of Barboursville, WV, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 29, 2010, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, after a courageous five year battle with breast cancer. She was born April 23, 1979, in Huntington, WV, the daughter of Mark and Kathleen (Creasy) Napier. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virginia M. While a student, Sarah worked at the downtown Huntington theaters. She taught second grade at Neabsco Elementary School in Prince William County, VA. Sarah served in inner city Washington, D.C. , as After School Program Coordinator for Daybreak Ministries, a ministry of McLean Bible Church in McLean, VA of which she was a member. Her writings continue to inspire thousands of people all over the world. Sarah never wavered in her faith in God and today is enjoying Gods eternal promises available to all. The family wishes to express appreciation for the professional and loving care offered by the Oncology staff at St. Marys Medical Center, the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House and to her doctors Dr. David Weinsweig, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Dr. Garrett Kimmey, Dr. Ronald Barebo, Dr. Mary Wilkinson of Fairfax, VA, Dr. Craig Nolan of Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York and especially Dr. Ron Brownfield who has been not only a wonderful physician, but a brother in Christ through the past few years. We are sad for you all-it is so unfair and mysterious why Sarah only had 30 years here-makes no sense. I hope you find comfort in the days ahead with God. Expect your heart to break over and over with her absence-allow that...just give it all to God-your anger, tears, pain and sadness...God loves that. We love u all-

There aren't enough words spoken to speak the grace that Sarah Beth potrayed every day of her life. She was a woman of grace, faith, love and above all a friend that I cared so deeply for. I have never in my life met a woman more in tune with God and her faith as she was. She drew me closer to him, and made me believe in the love and life he can give you. I love her beyond endless measure, and I truly understand the grief you are going through. I hope and pray God is guiding you with comfort knowing that he is cradling Sarah in his arms for eternity. Love you all Napiers and Creasy's, and her best friends that miss her so.

Mr. and Mrs. Napier, Jeremy, and Jason: I have such great memories with Sarah - playing softball with her and cheering with her... When I think of her, I see her sitting beside me in the dug out, smiling that wonderful smile of hers, and cheering "there was a little doggie, sittin' on a fence..." She was a wonderful friend and was always so positive and encouraging. I will never forget her in the story of my life. She has touched so many lives with her love for God and reading her online journal has given me a closer relationship to Him as well. You are all in my prayers.

Sarah Beth was an encouragement to all. She was a friend of my cousin, Erin, who also battled cancer. Sarah Beth had such an uplifting spirit and even though I never saw her very often, she always had the brightest smile on her face, knowing that God was in control of her life, no matter what laid ahead for her. Sarah Beth will be greatly missed by my family!

I was a classmate of Sarah's in the College of Education at Marshall. In many of our education classes, we were placed in assigned seats, in alphabetical order. Sarah and I often times sat close to one another. She always had s smile and a kind word to say about everything. Many times, when I was having a bad day, her smile and plesant attitude made my day so much better. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

To the family and friends of Sarah Beth Napier: My heart goes out to each of you at this difficult time of loss. Even though there is reason to rejoice, since Sarah is now in heaven, free from pain, and has secured her eternal reward; it is also a time of great sadness for those left behind. I have followed Sarah's courageous story through my dear friend, Christina Creasy, and consequently; I feel as though I know Sarah on a personal level. It was Christinas great love and respect for Sara that touched my heart...and it was evident that Sarahs faith carried her through the difficult times. It is so rare for someone to remain as steadfast as Sarah did under similar circumstances. However, Christina shared with me Sarahs deep love and fervent desire to please God helped her to remain strong. Her story is truly moving and extremely humbling. Each time Christina would remind me that Sarah's faith gave her courage to face each day with grace, hope, and Christian love. To me, her life was a testimony to each of us as well as a reminder to cherish every moment, appreciate the gifts we often take for granted, and to love God with all your might--every step of the way. I thank God that I knew of Sarah, even indirectly. I pray that the Lord will help Sarah's loved ones to endure and that we all remember that one day, He will wipe away every tear and there shall be no more dying. May God bless...Helen Lue Frye

I only knew of Sara through the Pea Ridge Baptist Church, where my daughter's family go. I followed her journey through her website and, what an inspiration she was all over the world, she touched lives and never complained. Her life humbles me when I complain about a headache, I want to stop and thank God for the life I have and the life Sara Beth led. What an example of a Christlike life. From the time my Dad heard of her, he prayed for everyday until he left to live in heaven. He and my Mom will be there to greet her and throw their crowns at Christ's feet and have a reunion that will never stop. God richly bless and comfort her family and friends and know she DID fight the good fight and is now in the Paradise she longed for, Jesus name, I pray.

Dear Mark and Kathleen You know how sorry I am for your loss. For all of our loss. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated you sharing your daughter with me through the years. She has always been a blessing to my whole family. She had that unique gift of making everyone she met fill like they were a special friend. I will miss her so much. But will cherish the memories always. It seems cliche' to say but it so true "Our loss is truley Heavens gain" I love you guys, Jerri Black

Sarah's was a life well-lived even though it seems way too short for those of us here on Earth. May friends surround you with love, memories and comfort in the days to come. May you all wrap yourselves with the hope found in the fact that she is not dead; she has just gone home and she is waiting for you there. Love to all

Mark and Kathleen, You are in our long distance love and prayers. Sarah was such a blessing to all that she came in contact with. We will never forget all the wonderful times we had as youth leaders when she was in the high school youth at Pea Ridge. Even then Sarah was "walking the walk". No one can know the loss of a child, but our prayer is that you will take comfort in knowing seperation from her is only temporary and what a blessing it is to know she is safe, and pain-free in the arms of our Father. All of our love and prayers. Ron and Bethany

I can't begin to express how sad I was to hear of Sarah Beth's passing. I have such fond memories of babysitting her when she was a young girl. Beautiful inside and out. Heaven has a new angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Mark & Kathleen.
