Elizabeth and David--I will always have fond memories of your father, always smiling and with a kind word to say. My mother, Florence, was your dad's cousin. I remeber visiting Gran and playing with you two when we were little. I would love to hear from you, and will try to look y'all up next time I am in Huntington. My deepest sympathies are with you.

Elizabeth and David,
We will miss your father and indeed your mother very much. I am the son of Sid and Jeanne Thomasson. My mother Jeanne was your father's cousin and we even lived next door to you for a brief time when my grandmother Jeannette passed away. My memories of you two were of young people and it would be good to see you both again. I remember Elizabeth's love for her huge cat and David's love for golf.
On behalf of the whole Thomasson family we wish to extend our most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to you two as well as to Nancy. Please know that you are all loved and that we are praying for you.

Elizabeth and David-I worked with your Dad at the Dept. of Welfare for five and a half years. I was such a genuinely nice, happy, friendly and outgoing guy. He was a joy to work with-so helpful, and kind,to clients as well as coworkers. He often spoke of his love of you two and was very proud of you. It is tragic what had happened to him in the last few years. He is at peace now and is I am sure serving God.

This is very hard for me. Dickie was my first boyfriend in 7th grade at Cammack. He brought me chocolate covered cherries for Christmas and delivered them to my home room. Our song was "Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me" and we laughed about it at our last reunion. I will miss him.

Dear David, Elizabeth, and Tom:
We were truly shocked to learn of Dick's sudden passing. He was a good worker and a very good friend. We are sorry we cannot attend the funeral service as we are out of state visiting our grandchildren. We extend our sympathy to each of you and will pray for God's comfort and strength to be your portion today and in the days to come.
Sincerely,
Doug and Lois White

David and all,
I was saddened to learn of your father's death. Off and on, today, I find my thoughts drifting to the short time I spent on staff at Johnson Memorial (1985-86) and good memories of working with your dad and your mother. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Elizabeth and David:
We were saddened to hear of Dick's death. We have been good friends and colleagues over the years. Just a couple weeks ago Dick and I (Emerson) had lunch at a local restuarant. He invited me to visit him at his Woodlands apartment. It was a good time of sharing for both of us.
You will be in our prayers in the days to come as you deal with the loss of your father.
Much love and concern

Elizabeth,
I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you. I know this is a terrible time for you and your family. I know leading up to his passing your father was not well and your relationship was strained. But you have to remember the love and happiness you shared with him when he was well.
Hopefully, with the passage of time you will only remember the good. And a smile will come to your face when you think of your father.

Dick was a long time friend , we often shared breakfast and stories as long as we remained in Huntington. His warm smile and outgoing personality both made our time together memorable. We were co-founders of the Andrews Brothers prayer group at Johnson Memorial.
God loves him and so do we!
