C. James Eugene "Jimmy" Nelson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1961 - 2024 C. James Eugene "Jimmy" Nelson, 63, of Barboursville, passed away December 2, 2024 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Celebration of Life will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, by Rev. Brent Beckett. He was born April 29, 1961, in Huntington, a son of Barbara Ferguson Nelson of Barboursville and the late Carlton B. Nelson. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Berkley and Blaine Nelson. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Kevin Linville of Barboursville; one brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Sharon Nelson of Huntington; and nieces and nephews, Kelly Swann, Susan Linville, Tara Nicely, Marissa Dillon, Taylor Nelson, and J.C. Nelson. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Saddened to read of Jimmy's passing. I fondly remember Jimmy and the entire Nelson family when I was a lifeguard at the Guyan Estates Pool in the early 70's . My condolences to Carla, Kevin and the family during this difficult time. Jim Thurston Melbourne, Florida
