1962 - 2024
 Ronnie Lee Wilson, 62, of Barboursville, WV, passed away December 1, 2024 after a long illness. Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jacque Compton and Rev. Tim Dixon. He was born March 5, 1962 in Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Lonnie and Dortha Grubb Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Johnnie Wilson. He is survived by his husband, Scott McSweeney; children, Jonathan, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Matthew and Joe Wilson; sisters, Drema Wilson Watts (Jimmie) and Debbie Freeman; brother, Lonnie Wilson (Dreama); very special mother-in-law, Bonnie Atkisson; very special sister-in-law, Sandy Curry; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong hair stylist. He and his husband were small business owners in Barboursville since 1990. Ronnie was a true artist, friend, and counselor to scores of people, who were blessed to have interacted with him in his chair. He cared for people on a very deep level. How ever he was very guarded in letting people close to him. If you were touched be Ron Wilson, you knew it. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. So sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing, Both him and his sister Dreama were customers for years where I worked for Barnum Beauty always friendly people.May he rest in peace.
