Mary Rowe, 90, of Wayne, WV peacefully entered Heaven’s gates on January 14, 2025. She was born October 8, 1934. She was the daughter of Pearley & Rhoda Copley. Mary accepted Christ as her Savior and held membership at Wayne Church of God. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend, & grandmother. Mary went on to retire from Ballard's Farm & Sausage. She spent her days after retirement tending to her numerous flower gardens and talking on the phone to her friends and family. She will be missed by all that knew her. Mary leaves to cherish her memories five of her six children; Glen (Carol) Rowe, Christine (Greg Ball) Rowe, Jerry (Debbie) Rowe, Betty Jo (Dale) Adams and Burgess "Bee" Jr (Vicki) Rowe; in addition to a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two special friends, Rebecca “Becky” Talbert and Mrs. Shelba Cline. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Burgess Rowe Sr., son Gary Rowe, grandson Joshua “Bug" Rowe, her parents Pearley Sr. and Rhoda Copley, & her siblings Toby, Jim, Pearley Jr., Sissy, Martha & Birdie. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Copley Cemetery, Genoa, WV.
