Charles Eric Seager - August 17, 1987-January 22, 2025
Eric was always a hilarious person. From running around at 3 years old in the middle of summer in cowboy boots and shorts with sirens on his bicycle pretending to be his heroes from the show C.H.I.P.S. And into his later years being willing to do literally almost anything to make you laugh, he was such a geek. He fell into love with music in his teen years and taught himself to play drums and guitar both, and he took to it immediately. Many nights filled with a 16 year old who just got his first drum kit is a wonderful memory for us all, especially our mom. She loved listening to him play and she always encouraged him.
Later in life he decided to get his CDL so that he could “drive big trucks like dad”, and he did. Eric spent countless hours watching concerts on T.V. And listening to more hours of old southern rock with our dad than I could ever imagine. Or just sitting quietly with him to watch the news
Eric was a pure heart that could lighten any mood or brighten any room, he loved deep but had a sword of a tongue and we 4 kids had our fair share of battles but no matter the words or actions we always picked up like it never happened. He was as imperfectly perfect as every one of us because we are made in our Father’s image. We will miss him everyday until we see him again, we know you are up there with Daddy rocking out to some of that good ole’ southern rock music right now.
Eric was greeted into Heaven by our beloved father Carl D. Seager, our grandmother Helen Marie Seager, our grandfathers Carl Edward Salyers and William Woodrow Casey Jr. (Jack)
Eric will be waiting to welcome his loved ones still here to see him again. He leaves behind his loving and supportive mother, Alice Ann Casey (Step Father Duane Lee Sowards), two loving sisters and one brother, three beloved nephews and one precious niece. Kristen Ann Seager (Layne Christopher Edward Seager, Holden Gregory Hush Baker) Erin Michelle Ray (Husband Ryan Daniel Ray, Maxwell Cash Ray, Piper Adrianna Marie Ray) Carl David Seager II, His beloved grandmother Karen Kay Beaver Salyers and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and I’m sure many others he has touched over the years. We are and always have been proud of you and loved you infinitely.
There will be no services and he will be cremated per his wishes. If you would like to pay respects we ask for prayers in this extraordinarily difficult and devastatingly unexpected loss.
