Mary Ellen Bess, 92, of Huntington, WV, passed away April 16, 2025 in San Tan Valley, AZ. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Danny Evans. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Huntington. She was born July 14, 1932 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Luther and Thelma Nichols Booth. She was preceded death by her first late husband, Loren Bias; son, Loren Bias, Jr.; brother, Charles Booth; and two sisters, Anna May Booth and Gloria Pardue. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Moyer (Paul) of San Tan Valley, AZ; son, Steve Bias of TX; daughter-in-law, Susie Bias of TX; four grandchildren, Andrew Moyer, Christina Bias, Tegra Bias, and Steve Bias, Jr.; and eleven great-grandchildren.
