I am truly sorry to here about Mr. Myers passing. I was a student of his. I admired and respected him very much, he was a great influence in my life. I remember him as the coach at Southwestern high school. He ruled with an iron hand and tolerated no nonsense, but always seemed to care about us. I remember a game we should have won, it was an away game, he got on the bus and said "no talking, and no windows down", the boys had just put tobacco in there mouths before boarding the bus!
They were green before we got back to school.
I wish more people could have been like him.

Lloyd Myers impacted so many lives over the years from young to old. I wanted to share my personal remembrances. Every morning my Grandfather dropped Kelli and I off at the front door of Southwestern School, where we were greeted by a big smile from Mr. Myers! He always called me, "Dancin' Dave", from my early clogging days. There were many occasions where he would stop by the farm to take a look at our upcoming 4-H projects or just stop by to say, hello. Without a doubt, Lloyd's passing impacted our entire family and we grieve with the family! He will be missed until we meet again. With many prayers, Glen, Patricia, Kelli Beth, Scott, Susan, David, Jason, and Sarah.
