Linda Louise White Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2011 Linda Louise White, 71, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital. Linda was born on April 6, 1939 in Goodrich, Texas, to Audrey and Buster Walters. She attended Kountze and Goodrich school districts and received her cosmetology license in Houston. Linda was a resident of Silsbee for 45 years and a member of the Woodrow Baptist Church. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers. Survivors include husband of 53 years, Ray White; daughter Gayle McGallion and her husband Craig; son Stanton White and his wife Rachel; grandchildren Lance and Lacey McGallion and Matthew White; sisters Sylvia Miller of Silsbee, Gloria Edwards of Conroe; brothers Ronnie Walters of Village Mills and Eugene Walters of Woodville. There will be a gathering of friends and family for a viewing at Farmers Funeral Home on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11:30am with graveside service to be held 2:00pm at Village Mills Cemetery in Kountze.

I am so sorry to here of Linda's passing. She and my mom were very good friends for many years. Linda contacted me a while ago and td me that my mother and her had a deep conversation about the after life. She told me that mom said that she would see. She told me that she understood the conversation and that she had saw and knew there was a better place awaiting. This gave me great peace to here this. My moms name was Joyce Stokes. I lost her and my dad and my daughter in a car wreck three years ago. Shortly after her and Linda had the conversation. My deepest sympathy to you all. I am sorry this is late. I did not know of her passing.
