Kenneth Kenneth “Dale” Snyder, 70, of South Shore, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jim Smedley. He was born April 24, 1954, in Huntington, a son of the late Kenneth George and Mary Lorraine Gartin Snyder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Dion Snyder; sister, Janie Snyder; and brother, Lonnie Edward Snyder. He is survived by one son, Christopher Dale Snyder (Kerry) of Florida; three daughters, Kaberil Snyder Ash (Timothy) of Barboursville, Erica Dion Gomez (Santiago) of Charlotte, NC, and Latisha Dion Ash (special son, Danny Ash) of South Shore, Ky.;two sisters, Karen Sellards (Bob) of Barboursville and Debra Pauley (Greg) of Barboursville; 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth Paige Snyder, Kristi’Ana Burd, Christopher Roberts Jr., Keiara Ash, Danny Ash Jr., Liam Ash, Noah Ash, Sylas Ash, Catalina Gomez and Eli Gomez; three great-grandchildren, Elijah “Dale” Burd, Raya Burd, and Mia Burd; and a whole host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Special thanks to Ashland Community Hospice and Woody Williams VA Medical Center for their kindness and care during our father’s illness.
