Mr. James Adonas Mote, age 67 of 5444 Hwy. 78 West, Bremen passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006. Mr. Mote was born in Walton County on June 16, 1939. He was the son of the late Grover Mote and the late Alice Mote. Mr. Mote was a plumber.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mae Johnson Mote of Bremen; three step-daughters, Jeanette English of Bremen, Ginger Thompson of Nicholson, GA and Ann Gonzalez of Bremen; six step-sons, D.C. Ewing of Avondale Estates, Harold Ewing of Oxford, GA, Charles Ewing of Buford, Robert Ewing of Buford, Gene Ewing of Conyers and David English of Waco; one sister, Juanita Wilson of Morrow; two brothers, Perry Mote of Jonesboro and Terry Mote of Jonesboro; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Thomas E. George and Rev. Michael Callahan officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Michael Callahan and Rita Floyd. Interment will follow in the Little Vine Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Joel Thompson, Gene Ewing, David English, Bobby English, John Patterson and Sam Floyd.
