Margaret Fox Edwards, age 84, of 4615 Georgia Hwy. 120, Buchanan, Georgia died and was born into eternity on Sunday, January 7, 2007.
Margaret was born in Murray Cross, Alabama on November 26, 1922, daughter of the late Julia Scales Fox and the late Herbert Fox, Sr.
Margaret moved to Buchanan her Junior Year in High School and graduated from Buchanan High School, attended West Georgia College in Carrollton and was married 60 years to her husband, the late Clarence Franklin Edwards.
Besides her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her two siblings, Catherine Fox Hutcheson and Hubert Fox, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Peggy Terry of Buchanan and Mrs. Joan Brown of Cumming; her sons-in-law, Mr. Eddie Terry and Mr. Louis Brown; three Grandchildren, Mr. Blake Terry of Cedartown, Mr. Scott Brown of Gainesville and Mr. Shane Brown of Cumming; four Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Buchanan First Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Fetkenhour officiating. Music will be presented by Shane Brown. Bagpipe music will be presented by Bob Miller. Interment will follow in the Buchanan with Eddie Terry, Blake Terry, Glenn Terry, Louis Brown, Scott Brown and Shane Brown.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
