Mrs. Hazel Virginia Box Salsberg, age 83, of 165 Summerville Rd., Buchanan passed away Monday, January 22, 2007. Mrs. Salsberg was born Wyoming County, WV on February 3, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Box and the late Elsie Barrett Box. Mrs. Salsberg was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Salsberg.
Survivors include one daughter, Glenys Carver of Buchanan; one sister, Lily McClung of Beckley, WV; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Dr. Allen Wilburn officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Following the service the body will be cremated.
