Martha passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 19, 2010 at her home. She was born October 6, 1931 in Knetzgau, Germany the daughter of Kasper and Barbara Firmbach. She was employed in Chicago with Bell & Howell Manufacturing Co. retiring in 1984. Martha attended St. Marys Catholic Church in Paw Paw. Surviving are 2 sons, Carlos Stark of Paw Paw and Bernard (Bernadette) Stark of McHenry, IL; daughter, Gloria Stark of Broadview, IL; grandsons, Kevin and Christopher Stark; granddaughters, Courtney and Emily Stark, and Amanda Tanguma; daughter-in-law, Janie Lucio of Chicago, IL; sister, Hedwig Firmbach of Paw Paw. Family will receive friends Saturday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Borgess Visiting Nurses and Hospice.
