CLARK, Patricia Jane (OGrady)

Bellville, OH

Formerly of Mattawan

It is said that "The love of a family is lifes greatest blessing", and Patricia Clark was truly blessed in the love that she shared with her husband, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. This love not only personified her, but is also that which bonds those upon which her loved was bestowed. Patricia Jane Clark, age 73, of Bellville, Ohio and formerly of Mattawan, Michigan, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 in her home following a sudden illness. She was born July 30, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Gladys OGrady, and was graduated from Lawton High School. On June 4, 1956 she married Donald H. Clark with whom Patricia was so proud to have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Patricia lived in the Mattawan area most of her life, and moved to Mansfield, OH from Michigan with her husband, Donald H. Clark, in 1997. Following Don's retirement from General Motors, the couple moved back to Michigan. Patricia had recently returned to Bellville this past spring to be close to her children and grandchildren. A homemaker, taking care of her family always came first. She was devoted to her husband, cherished her family, and was simply thrilled to be a great grandmother. Pat was also possessed a great deal of artistic talent, which she expressed through canvas paintings, woodworking, and various crafts. She was especially fond her of feline friends and loved doting on them. Patricia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law William H. "Bill" and Kathleen Clark of Butler, OH; two grandchildren Robert Clark of Bellville, OH and Nicole and Charles Timberlake of Mansfield, OH and a great granddaughter Malaila Timberlake. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas G. Clark, and her beloved husband Donald H. Clark in November of 2006. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 12 - 2 pm in Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw, Michigan, 49079, where the funeral service will follow at 2pm. The Rev. Thomas Abbott will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan. Memorial contributions to the Butler Adult Center may be made through the funeral home. The Bellville Snyder Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements, and condolences for those unable to attend the funeral service may be made by visting:www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.
