I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Linkous and my prayers go out to her family. She was one of the best teachers that I ever had. I went to HHS from 73 to76, she helped me a great deal not only as a teacher but as a friend she was always there to listen to me and help anyway she could . I will never forget her.

To the family of Mrs. Linkous I want express my sorrow for your loss. Mrs. Linkous was a wonderful person and an excellent teacher. She was one of the most understanding ladies I was lucky enough to have as a teacher. She touched and changed so many lives. She will be greatly missed.

I have had the priviledge of having your mother as my Home Ec teacher at Enslow and Huntington East. Her beauty came from within as well as her outward appearances. I still remember all the basics of sewing which included as our first assignment of sewing an apron, which to this day I still have in a chest and I am 64 years old! May her memory be eternal.

Ms. Linkous was the first teacher to take the time to show me a hidden talent that I had back some 47 years ago. She showed me the right way to sew and be proud of what you have created. I dearly loved her. Her smile and happy heart will live on in my heart. With every stitch I make (and I do sewing for others as well as my family) I thank Ms. Linkous for teaching me. You and I have been blessed to have her in our lives. Thank you for allowing me the chance to tell my story. Carolyn Cremeans Harvey Enslow class of 1964

Dear Bobbie and Mike, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother/Mother-in-law. Even though I did not have her as a teacher in high school I can say that she had an impact on many lives and those that took Home Ec had a marvelous experience. She made a difference in so many lives. Love to you all, Laura

Theresa and I were friends for 57 years but the last time I visited her, she didn't know me. What a loss---she was a wonderful person and will be missed.

Mrs. Linkous was a wonderful lady & teacher, I had her at Enslow in the mid-'60's. She always presented herself with such caring for her students. I appreciate the time I spent with her.
