I was saddened to hear of Clair's passing. I lived at 760 Buffalo Crk Rd for 23 yrs. and Clair was a wonderful neighbor. He always spoke to me and my family when we crossed paths. He will be missed, I'm sure, by all the neighbors, family and friends. God bless you all.

You keep the light on for me. I can't believe you're gone. You've left a hole in me that all the hills of West Virginia could never fill. I finally begin to understand what you told me about having more folks on the other side than you had on this side. I'll be seeing you. And, I'll always say "Let'er flicker." I love you, dear old friend.
