1946 - 2012
 Joyce Williamson Chaffins 65 of Louisa passed away Friday March 2, 2012 following a tragic storm. Joyce was born May 29, 1946 in Crum, WV the daughter of the late Gideon and Nettie Waller Williamson. She was a school crossing guard for the Pontiac Michigan School System. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Samantha Danielle Wood and a sister Janet Pack.
Survivors include her husband Glen Chaffins, a daughter Karen Wood, adopted daughter Lori Hill, two grandsons Tyler and Austin Wood, adopted grandchildren Jonathan, Eric, Mathew, Zackery, and Taylor Hill; brothers Birdie Williamson, Wayne Williamson, Clifford Williamson, and Herman Williamson; a sister Reba Marsh.
Joint Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday March 8th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Roger Ross. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Webb, WV. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Wednesday March 7th at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Glenn, Karen, Lori, Tyler and Austin. I am so sorry for your loss. Joyce, was a joy to be around, insightful and slow to share her opinions, but when she did, they were words of wisdom, thank you all for sharing her with us while you lived in Pontiac, there isn't a kid whose path she crossed that didn't benefit from her... Again, I am so sorry for your loss, my prayers and heart felt sympathy are with you at this time....

To the family of Joyce and Danielle. I have only known Joyce a few years but she was a sweet and dedicated Christian who will be missed by all, especially her church family.She never failed to ask for prayer for her family and friends. We will miss her very much and her seat will remain empty for a long time I am sure. Danielle was a sweet child and her death has been such a shock to all.God Bless each of you.
