Mr. Killgo was one of our favorite folks to work with. He will be sorely missed by my Team and I as he made a invaluable impression on our lives.

Jerry G. Killgo, 66, died at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. He was born in Beaumont on August 26, 1946, to parents Carlton James and Irene Mashaw Killgo. He spent most of his school years in South Houston but graduated from San Angelo High School in 1965. He joined the Army shortly after graduating in 1965 and served our country as a door gunner in the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. Jerry married the love of his life on January 24, 1969, at Beech Grove Baptist Church. They dated prior to his service and then reconnected after he returned home. Jerry received his Associate's Degree from Port Arthur College. He retired from Texas Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer in 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 29, 2012 at Beech Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow at the Little Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be at Forest Oaks Chapel on Friday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Jerry is survived by his wife, LouAnn Martindale Killgo, of Jasper, his two children, Karol Killgo Moser, of Wills Point, Texas, and Dr. Jay Killgo and wife Jennifer, of Vidor, Texas. He has four grandchildren, Grace and Emily Moser of Wills Point and Taylor and Averi Killgo of Vidor. Condolences can be posted www.forestoaksofjasper.com
