Almon Powell Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2013 Almon "Buddy" Powell passed away at his home on January 25, 2013. Visitation will be Monday, January 28 at Forest Oaks Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Services will start when visitation ends at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will follow at West Oaks Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Mildred Powell of Woodville, TX. Sons Ronald "Ronnie" Powell of Huntsville, TX, Brett and wife Anne Holman of Wixom, MI. Daughters Sherry Gibson of Vidor, TX, Lori and husband Tommy Rankin, Debbie and husband Randy Stine of Marshall, TX. Brothers Aurthur Ray and wife Judy Powell of Diboll, TX, Virgil and wife Janie Powell of Lufkin, TX, and Milburn Powell of Lufkin, TX. Sisters Thelma and husband Don Hoffman of Missouri, and Marie and husband Jack Tucker of Beaumont, TX.
