Tonna Brown, 63, of Flatwoods, wife of James Brown, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in King's Daughters Medical Center, following open heart surgery.
She was born Jan. 19, 1955, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Bobby and Dorothy Gentry Lambert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Hanners; and a brother, Steve Lambert.
She was a dear friend to everyone she met and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by two sons, Bobby Hanners-Davis of Maryland and Shane Brown of Flatwoods; two brothers, Bobby Lambert of New York and Rick Lambert of Ashland; and an adopted granddaughter that she dearly loved, Mikayla Fields.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m Monday at the funeral home.
