“Grace” - Your grace that leads this sinner home from death to life forever, and sings the song of righteousness by blood and not by merit. Your grace that reaches far and wide, to every tribe and nation, has called my heart to enter in the joy of Your salvation. By grace I am redeemed, by grace I am restored, and now I freely walk into the arms of Christ my Lord.

Deepest condolences to the Courts ’ family on the loss of their beloved father and brother. While growing up, I don’t really remember much about Steve other than he was very quiet and seemed as if he was perfectly content to be an independent loner. I remember mostly seeing the back of him as he sat in front of his ham radio talking to others. I think the most I ever heard him talk was the year or so he was our Sunday school teacher. I’m glad he got to attend the last Chapman Family get together. Rest in peace, Steve.

I serve as part of the pastoral staff at Randolph Street Baptist Church in Charleston. Steve has attended faithfully over the past several years and had become a very dear friend. I was shocked to read of his passing. Steve was loved and appreciated by many in our church family and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Please let us know how we might express our love and appreciation for Steve. Was there a particular cause that we could send funds to in honor of him?
