Ron and I are so sorry for your loss. Greg was a good friend over the years. We will always remember our many adventures together on baseball fields and basketball courts around Huntington, as well as fun with our boys growing up. (DJ, you felt like one of ours too.) Those were good times! You all are in our prayers.

Greg was such a wonderful friend and businessman to our school. Greg would work overtime or print a single shirt for a child to make sure everyone was happy and satisfied. He was truly a caring and thoughtful man to the youth and our community.

Greg coached my Babe Ruth baseball team when I was young. The man had the quickest and funniest retorts. There was a run in the State Tournament where our bats went cold and we couldn’t buy a hit. The next day, Greg emptied the supply of bats and started to launch them 20 yards into the outfield while screaming “wake up”! That day, the hitting returned. I send my condolences to his family. You had an awesome father, DJ! Time is fleeting but memories live on.

I am saddened to her the loss of a great man and most of all a coach! I got to play for Casto and it was an honor. He taught me everything I knew and inspired me to coach and give back! Casto you were one of a kind and will be missed! Maddog

I have known Greg for 9 years when my daughter married into his family but I know him better after reading his obituary and Facebook comments than I did before. I didn’t know how many lives he has touched and how much he was loved by those lives. Rest in peace Greg. Count me in on those who will miss you.
