 William Wayne Bailey Jr., 65, of Culloden, WV, passed away May 14, 2023. He was born June 7, 1957, in Bluefield, WV, son of Ellen Jack Lester Lusk of Scott Depot, WV, and the late William Wayne Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his son Richard Bailey. He is survived by his wife Allison Hughart; his children Isabella Poeder (Jonathan), Sophia Bailey, Lindsay Garrison, and William Bailey III; two grandchildren Oliver Poeder and Lillian Puckett. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday, June 3, 2023, at St. Timothy’s in-the-Valley Episcopal Church by The Rev. Cheryl Winter. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at the church. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers please donate to Neighbors Feeding Neighbors C/O St. Timothy’s in- the- Valley Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 424, Hurricane, WV 25526. Billy Wayne, I am so honored to call you my friend. I enjoyed your visits to my office at the Veterans Home. The stories that you told me were so enjoyable to hear. BW was my brother-in-law and a good friend. He was always smiling and he knew absolutely everyone in the world. He never knew a stranger and he was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. I don't know how we will fill the hole left by such a charismatic individual. Much love to my sister Allison and all his friends and family.
