Carl David "Butch" Seager, 68, of Milton, died Sunday, July 21 at home. A retired truck driver and proud member of Teamsters Local 175, he was born June 26, 1956 in Huntington, son of the late Carl Arthur Seager and Helen M. Wilson Seager of Milton. He was preceded in death by his parents, by brothers Charles and Hugh Seager, and by sisters Mary Taylor and Janet St. John. He is survived by daughters Kristen Seager and Erin Ray (and husband Daniel Ray) of Milton; by sons Eric Seager and Carl David Seager II, both of Milton; by beloved grandchildren Layne Seager, Holden Baker, Max Ray, Piper Ray and Lincoln Jarvis; by brothers-in-law George St. John and George Taylor: and by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews who adored their Uncle Butch. Strong in his faith, he loved and prayed for us all daily. Graveside services officiated by the Pastor Jim Butcher will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at Milton Cemetery following 1 p.m. visitation at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. My deepest condolences go out for the entire family. I know the pain and hurt you're feeling right now and my heart breaks for you. Butch was one of the best men I knew and I know he will be missed by many. But as you said he was a man of faith and I know he's finally at peace in his heavenly home. I pray for strength and comfort in the coming days for you guys ♥️
