Glen Edward Lycans, 72, of Barboursville, WV, passed away August 28, 2024. He was born September 11, 1951, in Huntington, WV, son of the late James Roy Lycans and Beulah Geneva Adkins Lycans. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Lynn Anderson Lycans, son, Casey Andrew Lycans, and stepson, Daniel Scott Jeffers. He is survived by four sons, Matthew Lycans (Christina) of Delaware, OH, Jeremy Lycans (Cynthia) of Dover, OH, Bryan Jeffers of Barboursville and Matthew Keith Jeffers of OH; and seven grandchildren, Ryann Lewis, Carter Andrew Lycans, Branson and Hayden Moore, Owen Lycans, Ivy Lycans, and Kenlei Jeffers. Glen retired as a Letter carrier from the US Postal Service. Multiple decade member of the Martha Brush-poppers. Glen enjoyed all activities outdoor mainly fishing and hunting. If Glen wasn’t visiting on his porch, he was gardening, or cooking, or journaling, learning, planning, preparing, or thinking about his family that meant everything to him. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock.
