Mary Francis (McDonie) Lewis, 84 of Barboursville, widow of Silas Lewis, went to be with the Lord on Monday January 30, 2006 in Home Sweet Home personal care home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Wayne Brammer. Burial will be in Blue Sulphur Cemetery. She was born February 11, 1921 in Milton, a daughter of the late Sidney and Agnes Jones McDonie. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie ( Buck) McDonie, Woodrow (Woody) McDonie, William (Drake) McDonie, and Charles Bias. She is survived by three sons, Jerry (Sandy) of Nitro, Don (Carolyn) of Ona, and Bill (Debbie) of Barboursville; one daughter, Judy (Paul) Jordan of Oxford, GA; one sister, Dosha Thompson of Hurricane; one brother, James Bias of Huntington; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Gillispie, Tom Lewis, Larry McGlothin, Richie Thompson, Frank Staggs and Charles Wells. Friends may call from 6-9 Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
