Cline J. "C.J." Ashworth, Jr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1960 - 2006 Cline J. "C. J. " Ashworth, Jr, 46 of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Ona, WV, passed away July 15, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery. He was born February 4, 1960 in Huntington, a son of Betty Black Ashworth of Branchland, and the late Cline J. Ashworth, Sr. Also surviving are his children, Joanna Shalee, Kendra, Joshua, Meagan, Bobbie Anne, and Christina; brother, Brent Ashworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Bruce Hutchison of Branchland, WV, Mary and Will Ayres of Hinton, WV, Cindy Fox of Shallotte, NC, Diana and John Champion of Willis, TX and Amy A. Ashworth; neices and nephews, Joseph, B.J., Carmen, Chay, Kaygan, Morgan, Amber, Stephani, Bobby, Kevin, Jasson and Chris; step-children, Nicole, Pamela and Amanda Jo; aunts and uncles, Garuld Ashworth, Mae and Bob Inscoe, Mary and Grady Jeffers, Natellia and Fred Hinkle; Trelma Curtis and Lo Walker, Sharon Dawn Black; great aunt, Maye Nowlin; cousins, Connie Chapman, Barry Adkins and Rodney and Cheryl Ashworth; and special friends, David and Ricky Toler and J.C. Sutphin. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Condolences may be made to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I am Jr's second cousin..he was my Father's great nephew..so sorry for your loss and sorry I was unable to make it to the viewing. My most recent memory of him was when my Mom, Maye Nowlin, and I were at the viewing of his Father, Cline. He talked to us for ever so long and I so enjoyed getting caught up with the family news.He walked us out to the car as we were leaving and gave us a big hug.My thoughts and prayers and love go out to his Mom and all of the family for this terrible loss.
