1917 - 2006
Eula Ramsey Morrison "Jim", 89 of Ona, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born May 19, 1917 in Cabell County to the late Wesley and Goldie Johnson Ramsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morrison; a son, Robert Morrison; one granddaughter; one great- granddaughter; two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Christine Morrison of Letart and Simon and Kim Morrison of Milton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Hobie Chapman, Barbara and Russell Blake, and Mary and Jerry Caudill all of Ona; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; four sisters, Gertrude, Sara, and Mary Ramsey and Betty Meadows and very special neighbors, Loretta Sword, Don and Helen Ruth Elkins. The family appreciates her church family and extended church families of the area that visited throughout her illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Monday, September 25, 2006 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may call from 1-3 pm Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers from Southwestern, Cathy Deer and Betty Lloyd and to all the wonderful workers at Hospice for their support.
