Kathy and family,
Roger was a mentor to me when I first graduated from nursing school in the early 80's. I have always been thankful for his guidance, professional manner, and the patience he always had with me. I have been away from Cabell-Huntington and 4 north for many years, but I have never forgotten the ones that really taught me how to be a nurse. My thoughts are with you and your family.

You won't know me by name, but Roger became a part of our family back in 1985 when he first took care of my Dad before he passed away with terminal cancer. I will never forget how he took such good care of him and my Mom as well. The morning of my Dad's passing, he had sat with my Mom about all night long. Then a few years later my Mom was his patient as well. I never worried when I left her in his care. I am so sorry for your loss and all his patients as well. your family will be in our prayers. May God Bless you at this time.

To Roger's family,
I would like to send my sincere apogolgizes for your great loss. I worked with Roger for many years at Cabell and counted him as a GOOD friend since we worked the midnight shift together. I knew that patients I sent to Roger from the Emergency Department were going to receive the BEST care that they could receive at Cabell.
