Clyde Braxton “Buddy” Gilkerson, 48, of Huntington, passed away suddenly on April 2, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born March 27, 1959 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Braxton J. Gilkerson Jr. and Joneta Byrd Gilkerson. He was an employee for Taco Bell for 27 years. Buddy loved the outdoors and attending dirt track races with his friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tarra Nicole Gilkerson and one sister, Alice “Jeannie” Means. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jeremy Hagley; Heather’s mother, Robin Gilkerson; nieces, Danielle Means and Makenna Jones; nephews, Richard “Richie” Means, Cory Hughes, Jesse Bias, and Jordan Bias; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Minnie and Glen Bias; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard Means, Neisja and Tony Jones, Jarrod and Shelly Bias; many family and friends. Heather and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.It has been many years since I've seen you but I think of your family often. Your Aunt Jeannie was my best friend and life without her has truely not been the same.You are in my thoughts and prayers.Just know that God doesn't make mistakes even though we don't understand sometimes.

My heart goes out to Heather and the rest of the family. Your father was a good man. I will miss seeing him come into our office every month and at the race track. He will be deeply missed by all of us here at Allstate.
