Jimmy Lee Perry, 63, of Milton went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the Huntington VA Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Chelcie Gibson and Jackie Clark. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a life long resident of Milton, a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was born June 11, 1943, in Milton, WV a son of the late Harry and Nellie Ashworth Perry. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Perry; one brother-in-law, Carl Nottingham. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Cooper Perry; one son, Jamarr Jimreck Perry of Milton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Nottingham, Linda and David Acred, Sue and Rodney Farmer; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Bonnie Perry of Milton; one sister-in-law, Joan Perry. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton and after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 139, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimmys death. Although I only get to Milton a couple of times a year. I always looked forward to seeing him. I will miss him, especially at pumpkin festival. Tom Cooper
