Patricia Ann BaumgardnerPatricia Ann Jenkins Baumgardner, age 71, departed this world on the wings of angels to meet with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from her home in Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville by Pastor C.J. Adkins. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Richard Melvin Baumgardner, 3 sisters, Mildred Maxine Berry, Betty Frances Basham, Geraldine Jenkins, 1 brother, Charles Frederick “Buddy” Jenkins, as well as one nephew, Carl Berry, Jr. She graduated from Vinson High School and later achieved her beautician’s license.

She was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, KYOWVA geneological society, American Legion Auxillary and Ladies’Auxillary VFW. She is survived by her three daughters, Crystal Dunkle, Karen Brooks and her husband Carl, and Cindy Robinson and her husband Tim. Also surviving are her two sisters, Ruth Adkins and Janet Thacker; seven grandchildren, Michael Mallory, Jacob and Caleb Dunkle, Amanda and Matthew Brooks, James Smallridge, and Eric Robinson, and one great-grandaughter expected in October.

Pallbearers will be Bob Dunkle, Carl Brooks, Tim Robinson, Jacob Dunkle and Jamie Smallridge. Honorary Pallbearer will be Michael Mallory. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. She was dearly loved and will be tremendously missed by family and friends. Our mother was very proud of our family “circle” being “unbroken” by us all knowing Jesus Christ as our personal savior. Pat is looking forward to seeing all those who have joined us one day at the glorious reunion celebration. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
