My sisters, Lynna Cornish, Stephanie Doyon, my brother Billy Thompson, and myself Sherlyn Hiatt, would like to let Thelmas family know how sorry we are for theirs and our lose. Thelma known to us as Aunt Thelma was our Dads (William, known to most people as Bill) baby sister. She was the only living relative left of our Dads immediate family. The Thompson family ment alot to us. Aunt Thelma and I kept in touch with each other. One thing I remember was when my dad was dying of cancer, I flew in to see him. He couldn't eat hardly anything, but he loved toast with applebutter. Aunt Thelma had mailed him some applebutter and he wanted me to try it and I did. We called her and thanked her for it. After he passed away, she told me she had bought it at a church social and it cost $2.00 but it cost her $20.00 to mail it. Her and I laughed about it every time we talked because she said she didn't care if it would of cost $100.00 to mail it she would of. She was one of a kind but so was my dad. I think God has blessed all of us who where so lucky to have known the Thompson family. They where sent to us from God to touch each and every one of our Lives. With all our love The William Thompson Children.

Tammy, I really enjoyed getting to know your mother the last several weeks. She always amazed me that regardless of how bad she felt some days, she always asked about my mom and told me she was praying for her. I wish I had met her sooner. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.

We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and grandmother. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Paul and Connie Hall, Coal City Chapter 136 Order of the Eastern Star God Saw You Getting Tired "God saw you getting tired and a cure was not meant to be. So He put His arms around you and He said "Come to me." With tearful eyes, we watched you pass away. Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best."
