1927 - 2007
 Margaret Morgan Johnson, 79, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Steele Memorial United Methodist Church by Dr. Ed. Grant and Rev. Ralph Sager. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born July 24, 1927 in Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter of the late George Stewart Morgan and Cora Wilhoit Morgan. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Morgan and a sister, Ada Ratliff. She was a retired employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways. She was a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church and the Ladies Circle. Margaret loved to read and write letters. She loved her husband and children and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Hearl Johnson; one son, David Lee Johnson and his wife Karen of Barboursville; three daughters, Margene Smith of Barboursville, Kitty Robinson and her husband Michael of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Amy Adkins and her husband Jeff of Charleston, SC; ten grandchildren, Angela and Jennifer Johnson, Sarah Bougher, Jacob, Caleb, Zach, Leah and Levi Adkins, Emily Luedtke and Betsy Robinson; two great grandchildren, Ella and Nathan Bougher; and one great grandchild due in January. Friends may call from 7-9 pm Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, and after 1:00 pm Sunday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to the Steele Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
