Arnold Hagley, 78 of Ona, WV passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the
Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, October 1, 2007 at Wallace Funeral Home in Milton with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park in Milton,WV. Arnold was born in Ona, WV on May 6, 1929 a son of the late Eustace and Icy Scarberry Harriet Hagley. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Shelby, Joe, Bill, Calvin, Estel and a sister Mary Lee. He was a retired employee of Houdaille Industries, Heiners Bakery and a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. Arnold is survived by his wife Gladys Pearl Adkins Hagley of Ona, his son John William Hagley of Milton, a daughter and son in law Doug and Angela Jeanette Hayes of Ona, three very special grandchildren Michael, Tyler and Andrea Hayes. He is also survived by two sisters Melva Shultz, Naomi Henry, one brother Eustace Hagley Jr. and many nephews and nieces. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Huntington and in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709 in Arnold’s name. I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn't personally know Mr. Hagley, I am a friend of John's. I know he was a good man && my heart goes out to you. I can only imagine what you must be going through. Just remember, he's in a better place, looking down upon us. R.I.P. Arnold Hagley
