Dear Mrs. Cartmill and Family: I want to express my condolences to you over losing Larry. I was on one of his undefeated basketball teams with Randy (our 7th grade year). Larry was a kind, patient coach and I am grateful for his taking the time to coach us. I also have fond memories of being in the band with Melody who was such a sweet girl. I see that she and Randy are married. I married Vicki Ray who was drum major Melody's sophomore year. We have three children and live in Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Cartmill, I know that you have had a full and busy life since I graduated from BHS. You and others have made Barboursville such an inviting town. (I periodically drive around it and reminisce.) I trust that you have many friends to comfort you, and I pray that God will comfort you and your family. Please convey my regards and sympathies to Randy and Melody. Warmly, Brian Humphreys
