Your family will be in our prayers. Marv was a GREAT man. I have only known Marv for 3-4 years but in that time he has helped me put a new perspective on my life. We shared many hours of conversation; I thought of him as a close friend. We may have met online racing but our friendship grew from there. Marv always did God's work every time he could. I will miss Marv dearly. He will continue to be a role model for me.
God Bless

I just want all to know that Uncle Marv was one of the most special people in my life. He and Aunt Netta have always been there for me when I needed them. The Lord has blessed me with a good Christian family and for that I am very blessed. I live with the thought of knowing that one day we will all be together again in Heaven (What a Day that will be) Uncle Marvin would want those who don't know the Lord to come to him and be ready for when he calls you home like he was. God Bless all of you who have showed our family support during this difficult time. P.S. Aunt Netta stay strong and faithful, the Lord will take care of you. I love you, Tee

It's so hard to do these messages when you respected someone so much. I only knew of Marv through racing and we sure did have a great time together. He was a kind and generous person of my dealings with him. I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope that the rest of this online racing community will remember him as I do, a friend.
Sincerely

There are not enough words for me to even begin to say what a blessing it has been to have an uncle as GREAT as Marv!!! He has always treated me just like a daughter. Marv was truly one of the greatest men to have ever walked the earth! No one could ever begin to know the love that I have for him. Marv has always been an inspiration to me, my life and my family. I know I could always go to him for everything. It seemed as if he always had the answers. Marv will be greatly missed, but what a relief and blessing it is to know that he was a child of God and that I will get to see him one day in Heaven! Nettie ALWAYS remember that I am here for you!! You are just like a Mom to me. I LOVE YOU!!! Just always remember to have faith in the Lord!! He will see you through. Nettie you will be in my prayers.

My condolences to the family, Marv became a very special friend to both my husband and I. I remember when he mentioned about the newfangled computer stuff he didn't understand when signing up for racing. I walked him through the sign up for racing and from there we became really good friends. We often got phone calls from Marv for computer help or for him just to check in how we were doing.Marv was the first guy to call offering condolences when John's father passed,he was the first to call when my dad passed in August of this year. We are so glad to have had the time at Summitt Point that we shared with Marv like we have in the past. The memories will last forever and every picture has a story. I know how much Marv liked fishing and how he adored his wife and his dog.Your family will always be in our thoughts and prayers and if there's anything we can do please contact us.

I didn't know Marvin very long and only knew him in the virtual world sharing our passion for racing. I looked up to him as a person and a racer. He had it all. An awesome sense of humor saying stuff I only wished I had thought of. Just because I shared in his passion I was in. And man was I lucky. I'll try and be the best person I can be just how Marvin always was. Maybe then the world can be a little better place. Thank you Marvin and we'll race again some day. :)

First off I am stunned. I have talked with and raced with Ray for several years now. Marvin and I had one of the all time battles and a little bull ring a year or so ago. We went side by side for 20 laps and switched positions about 6 times during the 50 lap race. He was one of my favorite guys in the community and I will miss him sincerly. To his family I am very sorry and my prayers are with you.
