Herbert Allen FisherHerbert Allen Fisher, 76, of Lesage, WV, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. He was born July 19, 1931, in Putnam County, a son of the late William A. Fisher and Dora (Sponaugle) Fisher. He was employed at the Coca Cola Bottling Company for 28 years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carol Fisher, Richard Sponaugle, Herman Fisher, Harvey Fisher, and Harold Fisher; sisters, Rene Lamunyon and Mary Fisher. Herb is survived by his wife of 50 years, Opal Jean (Holley) Fisher; sisters, Doris Bayes of Hamlin, WV, and Edna Dillon of Milton, WV; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who he loved as his own children. He helped take care of two special nieces, Angela Holley and her husband Brent of Milton and Bobbi Jean Dean and her husband Billy Dean Jr. of Ashton and held a special place in the hearts of his great-nephew, Justin Lee Holley and great-niece, Shelby Jean Dean. Herb was a kind, loving man who always had a beautiful smile to offer anyone he met. He left this world peacefully to walk with the angels in heaven and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Mrs. Fisher & family, I am very sorry for your loss of such a nice man. I know that family and friends will miss him greatly, but take comfort knowing that he is no longer ill and will be watching over you from above until you meet again. Love & prayers
