1953 - 2007
 Freda Lorene Harless, 54, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 29, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Lyle McMicken and the Rev. Bill Spears. Burial will be in the Harless Family Cemetery. She was born February 27, 1953 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Roy Nelson and Marie Bills Nelson Lucas. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a cook with the Cabell County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Byrd Nelson, Walden Nelson, Collie Lucas, and Dillard Lucas, and one sister, Shirley Newman. She is survived by her husband, Terry Harless; one daughter and son-in-law, Shawnita and Jeff Rider of Barboursville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Patti Harless of Barboursville, and Chris and Lisa Harless of Kentucky; five grandchildren, Nick and Logan Rider, Scott, Kayla and Austin Harless; four sisters and brothers -in-law, Myrtle and Charlie Clonch of Milton, Liz and Tom Shaffer of Milton, Louise and Mike Gibson of Salt Rock, and Nina and Larry Breedlove of Milton; three brothers and sisters-in-laws, Roy and Cathy Nelson Jr. of Huntington, Luther and Sue Nelson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Tom and Kim Lucas of Salt Rock; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Harless of Salt Rock, a special friend, Odessa Adkins, and a host of nieces and nephews. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious wife and mother. Everyone that ever came in contact with Freda loved her. She could make anyone laugh. TO the family, Freida was my first cousin just one af all the cousin Freida and I was blessed with. Everytime i seen Freida out shopping or at St Mary's out patient center. You knew she loved her cousin with a big huge and a smile.
