Danny Lee Martin, 52, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Bill Blankenship. He was born October 19, 1955 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Charles and Daisy Ballengee Martin. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cammie Gay Berry Martin and a sister Sue Martin. He is survived by his daughter, Jenny Martin of Barboursville; a very special grandson, Austin Martin; two sisters, Vicki Petry and her husband Doug of Berea, KY, and Mary Ann Wellman of Huntington, WV; two brothers and their wives, William Michael and Brenda Martin of Charlestown, WV, and Larry D. and Denise Martin of Olive Branch, Mississippi; his mother-in-law, Viola Wilson of Barboursville; a brother-in-law, Donald H. Berry of Barboursville; special friends, Peggy and Bruce Peters, Dwayne Sharp, Ralph Cole, J.P. and Kelly Hockenberry; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 10:00 am Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to the neighbors, doctors and nurses who took care of Danny at this time.
