Glenna Mary RayGlenna Mary Ray, 90 of Salt Rock, WV, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. She was born January 2, 1917 in Salt Rock, a daughter of the late Harry and Demma McKendree Morrison. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Salt Rock. She was a very loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all. She devoted her life to her family and cared for her nieces and nephew as if they were her own children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Norman Ray, a very special brother-in-law, Sterling Paugh, sister-in-laws, Ethel Ray and Alma McComas, and brother-in-law, Millard Ray. She is survived by her loving sister, Evelyn Paugh, nieces, Linda Jefferson(Tom), Mary Bevins (Tom) and Connie Desmond (Dick), and nephew, Eddie Paugh(Pamela). Additional survivors include a special brother-in-law, Tom Ray (Mary Ann),great nephews, Rodney Moehling (Terri), Scott Hensley (Sheila), Eric Desmond and Tyson Paugh (Melissa); great nieces, Shannon Grabowski (Chuck) and Summerson Springer (Bryan); great-great nephews and nieces, Palmer and Preston Moehling, Madison Boyd, Sterling and Stone Hensley, Will, Jon, and Anna Grabowski and Brycen and Finn Springer. The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful and compassionate caregivers at Chateau Grove and Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Rev. Sam Morris officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV. 25702. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Pallbearers will be Rodney Moehling, Scott Hensley, Eric Desmond, Tyson Paugh, Chuck Grabowski and Dick Desmond. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

All the staff at Chateau Grove would like to say we our sorry for your loss. We will greatly miss Glenna's beautiful smile. It always brightened our day! We have you in our thoughts and prayers. All our love!!!!!!!

DEAR FAMILY, AND THAT IS JUST WHAT YOU ARE TO US. THERE ARE SO MANY HAPPY MEMORIES AND THAT IS WHAT WE NEED TO THINK ABOUT INSTEAD OF FEELING SO SAD, EVEN THO WE KNOW YOU ARE. GLENNA WAS NOT ONLY A FAITHUL MEMBER TO THE CHURCH WAS SHE WAS ABLE TO GO, BUT ALSO A GREAT NEIGHBOR AND A VERY PLEASANT FRIEND WHO WE WILL GREATLY MISS. I HOPE THAT SHE LOOKS MOTHER AND DAD UP AND TELLS THEM HELLO FOR ME AND HOW MUCH I TRULY MISS THEM. YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS, BILL AND TERESA
