Lester L. Jenkins, 79, of Milton passed away Friday, January 4, 2008. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at Milton Cemetery. He was born June 1, 1928, in Cabell County, a son of the late Cleveland Jenkins and Anna Smith Jenkins. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 139, Milton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Cleveland "June" Jenkins Jr. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Chris Chapman; two sons, Curtis and Wayne Jenkins both of Milton, WV; one brother, Jack Jenkins of Florida; two grandchildren, Michael Chapman and Bridgette Jenkins. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 139, Milton.

Wayne and Kathy, I'm so very sorry to hear about Lester. Of course, I've known him for all my life having grown up down the street from each other. He was a staple of the neighborhood. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss and if you need anything, dont hesitate to ask.
