Thomas and Chris Words will never be able to express the love and joy that (MINE) uncle Tom provided to everyone he was around. He had such a profound impact on everyone he met. Mere words cannot express how very much I love him, I just want you both to know that you are my babies I don't think of you all as my cousins you are my brothers as well as uncle Tom was Mine. He was bigger than the world to me. The Day of the funeral Pastor Donnies Sermon truly spoke to me, He sounded so much like uncle Tom and he gave me so much hope and strength and peace. I see so much of him in both of you and in Steve. Please always know you were his life. He loved unconditionally and will be missed eternally. I truly believe that he is up there with God teaching him how to sing some George Jones Karaoke. I am here for you always and Uncle Tom is here with all of us always. I feel so blessed to have you all in my life and to have been one of the many lives that he touched and I am so blessed that I get to continue to see and hear him through you guys. We love you all and are here always. And Uncle Tom you were and always will be MINE!!! Love your Little Misky Now and Forever, your love, laughter and smile is branded in my heart and soul forever and we will meet again until then you keep em busy ok teach em some songs and we'll sing together again "when I get where I'm going"!

Beloved father and grandfather, Thomas Charles Davenport, 53, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, January 7, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Donnie McCloud. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. He was born January 26, 1954 in Corbin, KY, a son of the late William and Thelma Maria Davis Davenport. He is survived by three sons, Thomas Davenport and his wife Lisa and Christopher Davenport, all of Huntington, and Steve Davenport of Corbin, KY; one sister, Betty Butler of Corbin, KY; two brothers, Bob Davenport and Ancil Davenport, both of Corbin; his ex-wife, Pamela Davenport Adkins; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
