 Thomas Trent Chaney, 45, of Salt Rock, WV passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by the Rev. Dale Barnett. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born August 1, 1962 in Milton, WV, a son of Jack E. and Jean Wooten Chaney of Salt Rock. He was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Chaney. He is also survived by his best friend of 24 years, Pam Baumgardner; one daughter, Racheal Chaney of Salt Rock; one son, Michael Chaney of Ona, WV and his fiancé, Ariah Spurlock; one step-daughter, Jessica Roberts Smith; one step-son, Justin Baumgardner; two brothers, Dan Chaney and Steven Chaney; three grandsons, Sean, Tyler, and Braydon; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Alex. Our dad, Dale James, named Dog as our god father, and throughout our whole childhood and adolescence that is what he was and is.
