Carrie Ellen Hanshaw Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1930 - 2008 Carrie Ellen Scites Hanshaw, 77, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Heritage Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2008, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Joshua Huffman. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. She was born April 20, 1930, in Point Pleasant, WV, a daughter of the late Clayton Issac Jones and Rosie Bell Lowe Jones. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Andy White of Huntington, Brenda and Clarence Lykins of Ona, and Bonnie and Douglas Franklin of Huntington; two sisters, Juanita Marie Ayers of Huntington and Thelma Lorene Yester of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; one brother, Clarence Junior Jones of Huntington; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be after 12:00 noon Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
