I was Steve's fiance and was banned from his viewing by Ashley & Sherry. I wasn't allowed to be there until after friends and family left. My life will never be the same without him. We were going to get married in June, 2008. We should have done it the 1st time he asked me which was last November. I love you Steve with all my heart. I planted a little flower garden in your memory and where I can cry & talk to you. Nalla is fine - fatter though, sorry. I just feel like my life is over without you - you were my life. 05/23/2008

After reading the condolences, it is evident that none of your "old" friends knew me - that's ok, your real friends and family knew of me and much we were in love... I am still in love with you. I couldn't wait till June to be your wife. I wish we had gotten married last August, last Sept, last October, last November, last December, or this past January - when you kept asking me to marry you. I will always love you and keep you in my heart. Your fiance, Connie Raines

I am so sorry for your loss.
Steve and I went to school together at Martha Elementary for 6 years. He and I were always paired up together as a team in sports and in a play we played Paul Bunyons oxen. We had a blast! I will always remember those great times.
