 Kathryn J. "Kitty" Vital of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday March 21, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church, Huntington, by Rev. Roger Rabey. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Garden Mausoleum. She was born March 21, 1918, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Lester Jacob and Cora Dawkins Piersol. At the beginning of her marriage she lived in New Orleans, LA, and moved to Huntington, WV, in 1949. She was active in the Huntington Woman's Club, where she served as president. She was also active in her church and PEO. She and her husband moved to Stuart, Florida after her husband's retirement, and moved back to Huntington, West Virginia after the death of her husband, Jack H. Vital, Jr, in 2000. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jack H. And Barbara Vital, III of Huntington, Richard L. and Donna Vital of Ashland, KY, and Robert E. and Janet Vital of Huntington; grandchildren, Kathryn Ann Wallace and her husband Gary, of Corning, NY, Jack H. Vital, IV and his wife, Geri of Huntington, Mark David Vital of Tallahassee, FL, Marcia Lynn Vital of Bethesda, MD, Richard Jason Vital and his wife, Suzi of Augusta, GA, Jonathan David Vital of Providence, RI, Mary Beth Vital of Huntington, WV, Robert Matthew Vital and his wife, Sonja of Huntington, WV and Amy Marie Vital of Barboursville; 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, Huntington. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. I REMEMBER GROWING UP AND BEING AND THE VITAL'S WHEN THEIR GRANDMOTHER VISTITED. SHE WAS A VERY WARM AND FRIENDLY PERSON. I AM SO VERY SORRY FOR YOU LOSS.
