1938 - 2008
 Thomas Edward Neal, 69, of Ona, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Ray Vance. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born November 22, 1938, in Milton, a son of the late Alex Everett Neal and Glenna Spears Neal. He was a member of the Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital with 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by one brother, Alex Everett Neal Jr. and one sister, Thelma Eileen Conrad. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley Ann Bowen Neal, one son, Michael Edward Neal and his wife Jennifer; one sister, Patricia Parsons; two grandchildren, Haley and Alex Neal; several nieces and nephews. My prayers are with the family in your time of sorrow. A special prayer for Haley and Alex who will miss the Grandpa dearly. Please let both know that I still love them and thank of them often.

Shirley, I am so sorry about Tommy. He was a special guy. I have many memories of him. The Neal family were rich in so many ways and I am thankful that I was able to witness that richness. I was unable to come to the viewing or to the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers were there. Sincerely, Genie Webb
